Yogyakarta – The Department of Electrical Engineering and Informatics (DTEDI), Vocational College Universitas Gadjah Mada, has successfully conducted the Final Semester Examination (UAS) for the Even Semester of Academic Year 2025/2026, held throughout June 2026.
The examination period was organized in two phases. The first phase consisted of theoretical examinations, conducted from June 8–12, 2026, while the second phase consisted of practical laboratory assessments (responsi praktikum) held from June 15–19, 2026. The examinations involved students from all study programs within DTEDI and were carried out smoothly and orderly.
The theoretical examinations were designed to evaluate students’ understanding of the knowledge and concepts acquired throughout the semester. Meanwhile, the practical assessments focused on measuring students’ ability to apply theoretical concepts, solve technical problems, and demonstrate professional competencies relevant to their respective disciplines.
During the practical examination period, students participated in various forms of competency-based assessments tailored to the characteristics of each course. These activities included electronics testing, computer programming, data processing, instrumentation and measurement exercises, as well as the operation and analysis of engineering systems and supporting technologies. Through these assessments, students were encouraged to demonstrate both technical proficiency and problem-solving capabilities.
The successful implementation of the examination period was made possible through the collaboration of lecturers, educational staff, laboratory assistants, examination supervisors, and students who complied with all academic regulations. DTEDI remains committed to maintaining high-quality assessment processes as part of its mission to produce competent, professional, and industry-ready graduates.
With the completion of the Final Semester Examination for the Even Semester of Academic Year 2025/2026, DTEDI extends its appreciation to all students for their dedication and hard work throughout the semester. It is hoped that the experience and achievements gained will serve as motivation for continued academic and personal growth in the future.
