Yogyakarta – In preparation for the Final Semester Examination (UAS) of the 2025/2026 Academic Year, the Department of Electrical Engineering and Informatics (DTEDI), Vocational College Universitas Gadjah Mada, organized a “Free Lunch Together” event on Thursday, June 11, 2026, at the area in front of the DTEDI coffee vending machine.

The event was held as a form of appreciation and support for students as they prepared to take their final examinations. Through a warm and relaxed gathering, students had the opportunity to take a short break from their academic responsibilities while strengthening friendships and fostering a sense of community within DTEDI.

The lunch gathering began at 11:00 AM WIB and was attended by students from various study programs within the department. The event was met with great enthusiasm, as students gathered to enjoy the meals provided while sharing stories, discussing their exam preparations, and encouraging one another ahead of the examination period.

Beyond serving as a social gathering, the event also highlighted the importance of maintaining both physical and mental well-being during examinations. Adequate nutrition, balanced routines, and a supportive academic environment are essential factors in helping students remain focused, confident, and productive throughout the exam period.

DTEDI remains committed to creating a supportive academic environment that not only encourages academic excellence but also promotes student well-being and a strong sense of belonging. Activities such as this lunch gathering reflect the department’s efforts to strengthen solidarity and build meaningful connections among students.

Through this initiative, DTEDI hopes that all students can approach their Final Semester Examinations with confidence, maintain their health, and achieve the best possible results through their hard work and dedication throughout the semester.
