Yogyakarta — The Department of Electrical and Informatics Engineering (DTEDI), Vocational College, Universitas Gadjah Mada (UGM), welcomed a visit from SMA Negeri 4 Malang as part of an academic introduction and higher education exposure program. The activity was held at DTEDI SV UGM and attended by students and accompanying teachers from SMAN 4 Malang.
The program began with participant registration and a screening of the DTEDI SV UGM profile video. Participants also attended a safety induction session as an introduction to the campus environment and safety culture within academic areas.
The event continued with welcoming remarks from representatives of SMAN 4 Malang and DTEDI SV UGM. During the main session, participants received presentations about the department profile, available study programs, and the student admission system at the UGM ocational College.
The activity became more interactive through a discussion and Q&A session between participants and speakers. Students showed great enthusiasm by asking various questions related to academic life, learning facilities, and career opportunities in engineering and informatics fields.
The event concluded with a token exchange and group documentation between SMAN 4 Malang and DTEDI SV UGM. Through this activity, it is hoped that students gain broader insights into higher education and become motivated to pursue further studies.
