On August 9, 2024, UGM Vocational School took an important step in the development of electric vehicles in Indonesia. Unan Yusmaniar Oktiawati, S.T., M.Sc., Ph.D., a lecturer from the Department of Electrical Engineering and Informatics, together with Kun Hadibowo, a lecturer from the Department of Economics and Business, conducted a visit to Hyundai HMMI in Cikarang, Bekasi. This visit was part of a close collaboration with the National Research and Innovation Agency (BRIN) in conducting a strategic study on electric vehicles.
This collaboration not only demonstrates UGM’s commitment to supporting green technology innovation but also accelerates the transition towards more sustainable mobility in Indonesia. The study conducted at Hyundai HMMI will serve as an important foundation in the development of electric vehicles, both technically and economically, with a significant impact on the national automotive industry.
