Dr. Wijayanti represented Indonesia at the International Conference on Precision Engineering 2024 (ICPE 2024), held from October 23 to 26, 2024, at Tohoku University, Sendai, Japan.

Organized by the Japan Society for Precision Engineering (JSPE), the conference welcomed representatives from 26 countries and marked the 50th anniversary of advancements in nanotechnology, first introduced at the inaugural ICPE in 1974. The event served as a platform for leading experts in nanotechnology and metrology to exchange knowledge and share the latest innovations. read more

Lecturers from the Department of Electrical Engineering and Informatics at the Vocational School of Universitas Gadjah Mada (UGM), Dr. Fitri Puspasari, S.Si., M.Sc., and Imroatul Hudati, S.T., M.T., participated in the World Young Scientist Summit (WYSS) 2024 held in Wenzhou, China, from November 13-17, 2024. This event was part of the 5th “Belt & Road” Vocational Education Cooperation Forum, themed “Intelligent Network Connection—Advancing High-Quality International Cooperation and Development of Vocational Education in the New Era”. The forum brought together government leaders and academics from various countries to discuss the development of technology-based vocational education. Yalong Group and Wenzhou University were the main entities involved in organizing WYSS 2024 in Wenzhou, China. read more

A public lecture in the capstone series was held at the Ballroom of the Teaching Industry Learning Center Building, Vocational School of UGM, on Tuesday, November 5, 2024, from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM WIB. A hybrid public lecture of Kapita Selekta has been held for the D4 Electro Engineering Technology and D4 Instrumentation and Control Engineering programs. In this tenth week public lecture, speaker Ahmad Nugraha Bayu Mukti, S.T., MBA., who serves as the CEO of PT Miconos, presented on the topic “The Role of Technopreneurship in the Health Industry in Indonesia.” In his presentation, he emphasized the importance of technology-based innovation and entrepreneurship in supporting the development of the health sector, while also discussing the challenges and opportunities faced by technopreneurs in Indonesia. read more

On October 19, 2024, a significant event took place at the Teaching Industry Learning Center (TILC) of Universitas Gadjah Mada (UGM) in Yogyakarta, where the dissemination of research results was presented during the National Seminar on Applied Technology 2024.
